Our
Goal
The goal of the Dilworth Center for Chemical Dependency is to establish
abstinence from alcohol and other drugs with an emphasis on continuous
recovery as a means of moving towards a well-integrated life. The
staff of the Dilworth Center attempts to help the individual achieve
this goal through a combination of education, group therapy, and
participation in mutual-help groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous
or Narcotics Anonymous.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment
The Dilworth Center offers a six-week, intensive outpatient, chemical
dependency treatment program for adults.

Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Treatment
The Dilworth Center offers a multi-level, intensive outpatient,
chemical dependency treatment program for adolescents.

Dilworth Kids Program for Children
The Dilworth Kids Program for Children is a three-week program in conjunction with other regularly scheduled treatment services. Each session is divided by a break at which time the Dilworth Center provides snacks and drinks.

Continuing Care and Extended Care
The Dilworth Center offers a twelve-week, continuing care, chemical
dependency treatment program for both adults and adolescents.

The Family Programs
The Dilworth Center offers Family Programs for family and friends of both adult and adolescent patients.
Chemical Dependency Assessments
Chemical dependency assessments are conducted for each patient prior to admission. Additionally, assessments are provided for people attempting to determine if they are chemically dependent and appropriate for admission to the Dilworth Center.
Adolescent Education and Awareness Program
The Dilworth Center offers 6-week education and monitoring program for adolescents experiencing chemical abuse, but not chemical dependency.
